ABOUT

We are a Sixties Tribute Cover Band with a focus on songs with great vocal harmonies. We're are all experienced players and are dedicated to reproducing the recorded songs as closely as possible while bringing a great live energy. This project is *not* for improv lovers (but we still love you guys! Keep rockin'!). We can be reached via message here (we're paid) or using g mail, tkduggan.

We rehearse once a week with a fun but focused vibe. Everyone is expected to have done his/her homework and show up prepared. Our goal is to play out 3+ times a month.

We have:
3 capable lead/backup singers (one female, two male)
An additional solid male backup singer
Rhythm Guitar (plus some lead)
Drums
Bass

What's missing?

Keyboards - You'll be the horns in Sgt. Pepper's, the strings in The Moody Blues, the organ in The Monkees, and the rockin' blues piano in some of Elvis' best. You love adding what's missing and rounding out these classics.

Lead Guitar - There are plenty of opportunities to shine in these songs, but also lots of moments to simply serve the song. The right person will love doing both, and know the difference. We're hoping to add songs by artists like The Who and Hendrix if we get the right player, but the most important thing for us is to find someone who knows when to shine, and when to let the song breathe. We do a lot of Beatles and need someone who can channel his/her inner-George.

If you sing or play another instrument (harmonica, sax, trumpet, violin, etc), you definitely get bonus points!

See "Influences" below for a non-comprehensive list of bands we're covering. The three singers have been together for a long time and have about 100 songs down. The bassist has about 80 of those down and is working hard on the rest.
