Creative dynamic guitar player with a variety of sounds and skills looking for like minded/skilled players who want the freedom to express themselves and put their own ideas and signature styles into making greater music. To craft and record our own music with flavors and combinations of heavy aggressive funky grooves, rock, blues, fusions and whatever else we can add in between. No limits. We seek to expand originality. Unafraid to try different things. Where it works it stays. We all contribute our ideas and grow the brand as one.

Once dialed in, options for showcasing at legit venues become relevant. Not into band leaders or solo egos that need to control everything. We all decide. All in or all out. Unity as oneness. Drama is out! Easily offended or can't handle constructive criticism? Skip on by. We grow together. Not apart. The real energy and power lie in the appreciation of each of us, our talents and aspirations, brought to the club to be drawn upon and inspired by. Opportunity to expand and grow without limits. The only real limit is self. All inputs create greater outputs. In music and business. What do you really want to accomplish? Pride, ego and greed always end in destruction. I do not represent these. I no longer engage with anyone who does.

Last serious project was 96 Decibel Freaks, signed/recorded independent label record. Played in numerous bands but this one earned us an indie label. Played all the Hollywood strip scene clubs. Rainbow, Whiskey a Go Go, FM Station, Troubadour, Irvine Meadows and many more. Unfortunately most of the real SOCAL clubs are gone now so no point in listing them all. You get the idea.
Opened up for Motörhead, Korn, Incubus, Deftones and an opening event for White Zombie to name a few. Fortunate enough to tour with all Indie labels and opening for major labels.

Looking for vocals with a power switch where needed. Can be male or female or a front by both if it works. Different works. Possibly get into gang vocals and harmonies? Maybe brass and keys? Looking for an aggressive heavy groove drummer that has his own style but can also sit back and play similar to or in the styles as demo'd here. Reaching out for a bass player that can blaze his own path with his own signature styles/flavors. Not mandatory but if you have chops similar to the drum/bass styles from 96DBF or something similar to my friends of BrotherVibe on reverbnation, that would be a bonus. The tunes uploaded here are a very small sampling of creations compiled to display skills, ideas and recording ventures exemplifying what I rip on and write. Loads of ideas recorded and in my head. Always expanding and morphing. If you're doing the same, let's connect. Writing and riffs aren't a problem. It just flows. I play all instruments on my tunes except drums.

Consistency and frequency. Dedication and years honing, expanding chops into catalogs of sounds, styles and flavors. GOD #1, respect, humbleness, easy going attitude, building bridges and being dead honest with myself and others straight up has kept me in the game. Learned/learning a lot. Endless journeys. Saw/experienced a lot. Maybe too much. Made good choices. Wiser for it. What's your experience?

Sorry, not interested in jukebox/request line cover bands. Been there done that long long ago. A few covers? Sure but with our own twist. All covers? No thanks. Old hat for me. Looking to construct and forge. Not copy and cover! Don't wanna be a rockstar playing other peoples songs. Just want to collaborate with easy going, skilled, like minded musicians who are their own instrument of creations. I play by ear with very little theory so as long as we can communicate and nail it with authority we're good. Passion and love for music #1 straight from the heart. It's what it's about in my head. Depends on the day, month, year. LOL! Too many to list. I will listen to anything if there is an artistic value. I don't believe in limits. I will play anything if it's moving with creativity, depth and originality. All music is an expression to enjoy and learn from.

EQUIPMENT

All gear is professional grade. Legit for studio or live applications. I play 6, 7, 8 string guitars along with 4 & 5 string basses setup per my specs. Don't want to sound like anyone else. Not trying to sound like anyone else. Real tone starts in the fingers, or so I'm told... Maybe it starts in the head? That tone you hear..., you chase it incessantly, but will you find it? For some, a life long search. It's multifaceted. All things considered. If you love your gear then it's probably pretty decent stuff. I would think anyway.
