ABOUT

Just moved back here to Melbourne after 34 years. Had a band in LA til recently. I'm like someone who just got out of a rough relationship and needs some time to figure out what I want next. Just here to see who's out there/in the area/might have similar tastes/musical goals. Right now, I'm mixing my last band's last LP and working on a solo LP. May want some guests on that.

I'm into some pretty alternative stuff. Not alt metal death metal/butt rock/party bands/top 40/EDM ... none of that.

Influences

Eno, Wire, almost any early 4AD, Factory, Cherry Red stuff. But want to find a fresh sound that’s not slready overdone. Love Can, Faust, Red Crayola, Gastr Del Sol, Tortoise, Nick Drake, Fairport Convention, early Roxy Music, OMD, … yes, I’m all over the map. Check out the band Strange Parade on spotify, youtube or apple. If you like, we’re off to a good start compatibility-wise. Looking for people who know their instruments but not so well it sounds like prog rock. :)
