I'm 40 year veteran I began with heavy metal and through time progressed to Jazz I'm always trying to learn new stuff.I never comfortable with just 1 system of music. Im very subtle for a drummer I can play drums with an acoustic guitarist and still play soft enough not to drown them out. My thing is dynamics and understanding the correct volume for the venue being played I'm a listener who thrives on improvisation I like to hear what everybody is doing. I find when the volume gets too loud I can't distinguish what's being played. I'm also pretty humble I understand that their are players out their better than I'll ver be I have over 400 shows under my belt I'm a player meaning I can play almost anything I set my mind to and if I don't know I'm willing to learn. I practice about 20 hours a week. I'll be playing the Jazz Bistro on 4th Ave Friday and Saturday nights threw the winter to stay active
