ABOUT

Fronted by vocal powerhouse Gretchen Emery (“Best Lead Singer” Delaware Valley Hometown Heroes, 2023),the Gretchen Emery Band delivers an infectious blend of soul-powered blues, blending time-honored influences with modern inspiration, creating a vibe that is deeply rooted in the familiar yet surprisingly fresh at the same time. Backed by her husband Kenny Windle (guitarist and co-writer), and veteran musicians Randy Waters (bass), Frank Donato (keys), and Mike Leger (drums), the Gretchen Emery Band has performed at festivals, venues, & listening rooms in DE, MD, PA, NY & TN. In 2022 the group released their debut EP “If Love Were Enough” (a/i/r records) which has been described as a “rootsy, soul-fueled mix of rockin’ R&B….” The band is currently working on a full-length album at BarnSound studios (PA), and additionally will travel to Muscle Shoals, AL in May 2024 to record brand new music at the iconic FAME Recording Studios. But hey… Don’t trust this bio….just come watch them live – and be sure to hold on tight for a dynamite show!

Excited to play this super cool festival again this year!!! There will of course be some amazingly creative people racing homemade human-powered elaborately decorated machines through a mud track (I mean…really…if you’ve never witnessed this you’ll want to see it!!). It’s a GREAT day of community, creativity, arts, music, & fun! We hope to see you there!!
