ABOUT

62 year old vocals/guitar. Would love to JOIN a band to have fun and get the eventual gig to make SOME money to support the habit. Play and sing well enough to have fun with others but not a lot of experience playing with others. I can hang. Presently on a British kick, mostly Beatles but love all classic rock. Can play SOME lead if given enough time to figure it out(NO improvising, but would love to work up to that). Schedule is somewhat flexible. FOR FUN MOSTLY BUT ABLE TO COMMIT FOR GIGS IF AND WHEN THEY POP UP. Looking for a band near Oak Leaf/Middleburg/Cecil Field/Normandy/Blanding/Asbury Lake/Fleming Island/Riverside/NAS/ etc only(10 mile radius). I would prefer to play guitar but I am open to bass

Beatles, Pink Floyd, Bad Co. Neil Diamond, Sting, Eagles, Chuck Berry. U2, Classic rock and early pop and R&B in general... i try to be somewhat faithful to the music, BUT i always bring in my own style.Not looking to do tributes, just play the music.

EQUIPMENT

Guitar: (acoustic and electric), amp, cables, stands, plenty of effects. In short, i got what i need for guitar (working on getting a decent PA for small venues). My repertoire is large enough that I don't remember everything I know (though that might be age related).
Bass: Fretted and fretless (new to this) instruments. 500 watt amp. Basic pedal board.
Microphone and stands.
