Since there are many factors into what an ideal bandmate is for someone (bonding over the music's the easy part), the search is a time consuming one. So, in an effort not to waste anyone's time, I packed the following couple of paragraphs with as many references, and as much insight as I could, while being as conversational as possible. I am a singer/songwriter/rhythm guitarist, and I'm looking for compatible musicians to reinvent my current band. It is a fully realized project, that already has an existing fanbase. Modest, but supportive. I need players that fit the concept, not just because they can play the style of music, but because that is what they are, and will, more or less, always be... and not in a stagnant way. I am looking for authenticity, honesty, passion, and a commitment to rock and roll because it's your way of life. Along with that is the focus, legitimacy, and ability of a professional (when I say it's a way of life, I'm not talking about the tired clichés either - longevity sounds good to me. Lemmy is one of my heroes, but the older I get, the more I paying attention to Duff). This is not only a job, or just a hobby for me, this is my life. I live it, breath it, obsess over it... and I have for as long as I can remember. I take my songwriting, rehearsing & performing seriously... and I have a blast doing it!
