Wog is an experimental, progressive, instrumental project looking to explore uncharted musical territory. Abrupt yet smooth changes in time signature and/or key are prominent features of our songwriting. We stress the importance of concept art and enjoy developing elaborate stagecraft, including costumes, which are mandatory for joining us. We expect to have high caliber fun.
We welcome anyone responsible, punctual, and curious. Gen X preferred. We'd love to work with a cellist, any brass players- tuba, trumpet, trombone, and will consider anyone who brings something unique to the table. Wog is currently seeking someone who fits one of these three descriptions.
1. A versatile drummer and percussionist, who can play everything from Latin jazz to metal, island reggae to funk, disco to pop.
2. A rad bassist who can play slap, funk, and a wide range of styles, and who also has proficiency in another instrument.
3. A skilled cellist who also plays bass.
4. A multi-instrumentalist who specializes in the lower register of sound.
