ABOUT

Fifteenth Summer, a local Atlanta alt-rock band, is currently seeking an experienced bassist to round out our current lineup.

Our influences include (but are not limited to) A Perfect Circle, VAST, Placebo, NIN, STP, Ours, HIM, The Birthday Massacre, Stabbing Westward, Kill Hannah, Depeche Mode, Tool, Lacuna Coil, Interpol, Ours, She Wants Revenge, Muse, White Zombie, and many others. It's a pretty good cross-section of alternative rock, hard rock, industrial, electro, and metal.

*PLEASE NOTE: If you haven't heard of any of these bands, please don't contact us. We probably won't be a good musical fit for you.

Please see what we're looking for below before messaging us:

-21 and over, please. We're gonna need you to play at 21+ shows. We'd like to find people between 25-35 if possible but age is not an issue for the right person unless you're under 21.
-Strong musicianship. We're not beginners, and you shouldn't be either.
-Reliable transportation.
-Reliable equipment.
-No drug or alcohol dependency issues.
-No financial issues that hinder your ability to take this seriously and contribute to band funds for recording, practice space, maintenance of your equipment, etc.
-The willingness to write new material with us as well as to learn and put your own spin on our old material. We're not looking for a hired gun. We're looking for a band member.

What we offer:

-We're fully functional and gigging, with an EP released last month. This IS NOT a start-up.
-A band with staying power. We've been together in one form or another since 1998.
-A practice space just outside the Perimeter.
-A band full of industry contacts. Three of our members have audio production experience. One works in radio. Another one has worked in clubs. We know our way around the Atlanta music scene.
-A chance to collaborate and write new material, rather than just joining a band and "playing their stuff."
