Older, yet far from dead bass player looking for musicisans to play ROCKIN blues. Not boring 1-4-5s, not the same lame "classics", not screamo metal, not whiney-ass alt-anything, and definitely NOT country!
You'll need to bring energy and excitement to sessions whether or not the stars and planets are in perfect alignment, if you had enough sleep or if your'e having a bad day, week, or life. I'm sick of motherfu*kers who leave their chops in their other pants and mope through the tunes because life hasn't been fair.
I'm interested in doing stuff along the lines of Tinsley Ellis, Walter Trout, Buddy Guy, Sonny Landreth, Frank Bang, Jimmy Thackery, Coco Montoya, Nighthawks, Johnny Winter, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Jonny Lang, Pat Ramsey, and you get the picture.
Because of a fu*ked-up situation I got involved with in Spring '09, I can also play more than a few swing tunes by Cherry Poppin Daddies, Brian Setzer, Mark Andrews, and Big Bad Voodoo Band.
