I'm looking for a friendly weekly jam, with a future option to play out a few times per month when we like how we sound. I would be happy with a variety of scenarios:
- classic rock cover band, maybe a little country or southern rock
- modern alternative band playing originals
- electronic/synth/computer experimentation fused with rock, Pink Floyd-ish
- bigger funky band with a brass section

I'd prefer to stay near South Pasadena to keep logistics simple. Can practice in my house, but would need to invest in a silent jam setup to go after 8pm. I have acoustic drumset, but no quiet electronic drums. I'd chip in for a rehearsal space in the right circumstances.

High end guitar gear for playing live or plugging into a silent setup.

Linux-based audio recording setup. Some MIDI nerd-toys. I don't know much about looping but I'd be interested to experiment with it.
