Band to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Other Percussion, Saxophone, Keyboard, Background Singer, Steel guitar.

Looking to join or form a classic rock cover band rehearsing or early weekday evenings 1-2 times per week, playing out 1-2 weekends per month. I have practice space in my house, including a drum set, or in the right setup I can chip in for rehearsal space.

I want to play with folks who have a solid baseline of musical ability and experience, but who won't be frustrated if I can't tour or play out every weekend or learn 10 songs in 3 days when I'm traveling for a business trip. More important to me is having a group of folks that enjoy playing together and getting tighter together over time.

I'm pretty open to different stuff. That's an interesting part of different people in a band: bringing music I would have never discovered on my own. I do shy away from metal, hard rock, and rap. Here's some of what I gravitate toward:

Tom Petty, Johnny Cash, Allman Brothers, Dire Straits, Santana, Clapton (Cream, Derek & Dominoes), Credence Clearwater Revival, Marshall Tucker Band, Bob Seger, Jethro Tull, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Steve Miller Band, Jeff Beck, Bob Dylan, Eagles, Beatles. Rolling Stones....

90s Fender Strat Squire (Korean) updated with Zexcoil low-noise pickups, Fractal AxeFX amp/effects. Atomic CLR monitors and poles for gigs. Taylor 12-string, Takamine classical with upgraded CoolTube preamp, Yahama 6-string,

Just bought a drumset to make it easier to practice at my place with no back-and-forth of the drummer's personal set.

Linux-based audio recording setup. Some MIDI nerd-toys.
