North Dallas based band: Bass, Drums, Guitar/male vocalist and Female vocalist

We are all professional, stable, reliable, hardworking people with a good understanding of what it takes to do this, with an ultimate goal of playing once or twice a month locally along with private parties and such.

Most of us have played professionally in our younger days, however we are not looking to make a living at this; it’s just a creative outlet. So if you are depending on this gig to pay the bills, we are not the band for you.

We were pretty much gig ready when we lost our lead guitarist. We are not kids; we are all in our mid 30’s to early 40’s, so no delusions of grandeur, just looking to have some fun. With that said, age is not critical. Also, no boyfriend girlfriend thing going on, we are all separately married family people.

You can check out the bands site at 8daystilmonday.com. The band already has 100 plus fans eager for us to gig as a result of our previous band associations.

We are specifically looking for a lead guitarist to round out the band, vocals are a plus but not required. We want someone to learn the material and not just improvise the leads. Obviously, every solo can’t be learned note for note, but there are key riffs that just have to be there. Also consider that we are covering tunes that had substantial key parts and so some creativity is required in that respect.

Personal chemistry is as important as ability.

We are primarily playing 80’s and 90’s covers, but putting our own more contemporary twist on the songs.
