Lead guitar player seeks drummer, bass player, keyboard player, male and female vocals, and maybe more.
Want to start 80’s New Wave cover band that has a look and a vision, almost like a tribute band. Do songs starting from about 1977ish to 1984ish. Must have strict adherence to set list and character. I want this to be a strong product that will work well in a club or other places. I would love to have a large set list to draw from, 100 to 120 songs doesn’t scare me so we can be like a New Wave juke box. I am just putting out the feelers for this and other projects. I am open minded about this so if you have a good plan, I’m all ears! With the dancability and retro flavor of this type of music, this has great money making potential!!!
I am a super positive, upbeat, non-smoking, “good” beer drinking, ex-pro lead guitar player with pro gear. Interested in a band that makes some cash! I am willing to practice but want to gig. I also know how to be “not to loud”! I have a life, but still want to play music. Mostly, I want to have fun.
Seeking like-minded, super positive, upbeat, thirty something’s to middle-aged players who have a little life left in ‘em! Professionalism is a greater priority then virtuosity. An ability to communicate to the audience and sell a product is important. Most importantly, must be able to see the vision and catch the vibe and look! Need a good keyboard player that can nail all the different sounds of the times, and a female singer that can nail the look as well as the parts!
Blonde, Elvis Costello, Devo, B-52s, The Clash, Joe Jackson, Plimsols, The Vapors, The Romantics, The Cure, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Cult, Human league, The Cars, Suburban Lawns, The Call, -Get the Idea?
Pro rig, and I will use gear that suits the bands sound and most important, the look.
