For those of you who are unfamiliar with 8 Seconds, my name is Mike Flack and I head up what is arguably one of the most energetic and powerful modern country cover acts in the area. 8 Seconds' powerhouse reputation has earned it numerous opening spots for national touring/recording artists such as Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean, Tracy Byrd, and Billy Currington to name a few. We have a loyal fan base and even when we leave the stage for the evening, our show stays with people for long after we're through and those people ALWAYS look forward to the next chance to catch us perform.

8 Seconds has always included top-notch entertainer/musicians and solid harmonies. Our shows feature BOTH visual and auditory solutions to people's everyday "same ol' same ol's". Recently however, I had to put the band on hold for the last year-and-a-half to pursue interests in Nashville. I've since returned to Iowa and am now looking to put the band back in the race and at the head of the pack! The time spent away however has brought about the need to replace some of the original members.

The drummer, Michael Jensen, and myself are currently seeking players to fill some big shoes so please feel free to show us what you've got! Interested players MUST BE up to date on current Top-40 Country and possess a reasonable knowledge of classic country and classic rock with perhaps a touch of modern/alternative rock thrown in for good measure!
