I play bass and guitar. I can also cover backing vocals. I have songwriting chops. I've spent the last 20 years teaching guitar/ songwriting at a college level. I've also done a fair amount of studio work. I have not been in a regular band in that time. Now that my kids are mostly grown I'm looking to get back into a band. I'm old enough to know that I'll probably never be famous, but I'm no hack either. I'm looking for some decent, like-minded guys to make music and gig 1 or 2 weekends a month with.

Influences:

I grew up in the 80's, so I've got a soft spot for all the rock from that era, but I'm open to pretty much anything, as long as it makes people's booties move.
