Welcome to The Aaron Williams Band audition page! We are searching for a passionate and reliable Drummer to aid us in exposing our original music. Listed below is what we’re looking for. Please read and if you are still interested please schedule a audition today by emailing us at:

Age: 21 - 35. The oldest of us in the group is 30, youngest 26.

Personality: We are all layed back, yet serious when it comes to promoting and exposing the music in an artistic and professional manner. We need adults in the band ready to work (and have a ton of fun along the way).

Influences: We also hope that you enjoy the style of music we play. Check out our influences and our songs on this page. If you enjoy playing/listening to these bands you’ll enjoy The Aaron Williams Band.

Education: Music education is a perk and lets us know you can communicate with us, but not necessary (if you have good chops the job can still get done).

Gear: We expect Pro Gear. A good drum set will define a bands sound.

Transportation: We have many shows and many rehearsals. We need you to have reliable transportation.

Creativity: We improvise on stage and we will write original songs over the next year. We like adding original flavor to our covers as well. Creativity is number 1!

Attitude: We need a layed back personality like ourselves. We get a lot done with little controversy. Good vibes are what being in a band is all about!

Experience: We need a drummer to step up and take a heavy load at first so we can continue giging come March. The more experience you have performing, learning, and creating music the better chance you will mesh with us.

Commitment: If you are interested in the band after your audition we need you fulfill the commitment. If you join the band full time plan on one to two rehearsals a week. 100+ shows over the year. Commitment is number two importance. We need you to fulfill at least a year, after that we can renegotiate further commitment.

Money: We get great paying gigs. Our audience is ever growing. We’ve been in this band for shy of a year. However with great reward came some sacrifice. There will be opportunities that don’t pay off at first but in the long run provide income. Example: We played a free showcase at Cubby Bear on a Wed. We brought all our gear for four songs. Since we’ve been called back to play a 93XRT show at Cubby Bear where 500 people attended on a Friday. Made money. Then we were asked to come back to Cubby Bear to perform at a Comcast filming for On demand. Now our performance is available to millions of people over Comcast On demand. Lastly one of the bands that Played the XRT show at Cubby Bear asked us to open at House of Blues. So much exposure, money, and fun from one miserable late night for no money. We understand that sacrifice in the future gets us the good gigs and our name out there. However, the ultimate goal is to make money and music! All moves are in a forward motion!
