I've played bass guitar for over 14 years now. It's been quite a few years since I've practiced regularly. I never spent much time learning cover songs, not particularly interested now either. I've done a lot of freestyle jam types sessions.
I'm rusty and probably should brush up on my music theory. I would love to get back in the flow of playing with some fellow musicians.
Back when I was playing regularly with a drummer we'd sit down and jam for a few hours and we'd start to write songs on the jams we really liked.
I don't have a dedicated style of music I wish to play. I just love jamming on the bass and writing original music. I'd prefer some diversity in the style of music.
Most of my experience is in improvising and random jams, but it'd be nice to find some talented musicians where we all mesh well that could lead to writing some music and doing live shows.
