We are an Acoustic String Band..
We play a variety of Music from the 50's thought the 80's. We play Folk, Country , 50-70's Rock, A little Bluegrass, and R&B. We may not have been together long but there are years of Talent in our group. And we have a unique sound.

The influences of the band range from Van Morrison, Jim Croce, Cat Stevens, Fats Domino, 'Elvis, Kingston Trio, Peter Paul and Mary, Roger Miller, Carter Family, Simon and Garfunkel, Beatles, CCR. John Denver, Jerry Mungo, Steve Goodman, Buddy Holly, and much much more!

Jim(our Rock and Roll gurue!) is one of the founders of Yesterdays Dream a garage band from Rolling Meadows, Joe is an accomplished Bassist, he has been playing for over 35 yrs, Matt is an awesome Banjo player, Martin's mandolin and Guitar playing is superb! and me I am the rhythm player. I have been playing for over 30 years. We have a lot of fun in our group and it shows in our music.

Members Of Band

Rene(Rhythm Guitar), Jim (Lead 12 Sting Guitar and Bass), Martin(Lead and Rhythm Mandolin and Guitar), Matt (Banjo and Guitar), and Joe (Bass) Everybody Sings in our group, either lead or back up vocals. We do not have any drummers in our group on purpose.

3-6 string Guitars, 1-12 Sting Guitar, Bass Guitar, Mandolin and Banjo!
PA SYSTEM: 2 Alto TS110A 600Watt 10" Powered PA speakers, Samson MDR1688
Mixer 16 inputs, all cables, and connections Mics, and We are ready to go! As a member of the band you are expected to provide your own connections (CORDS) to the PA. 25' Guitar and 50' Mic XLR

We are playing for a supportive living community
in Round lake Beach Seating is open to the public
but small amounts, If interested in attending message me.

Come here us play if you like seating is limited
but they have extra chairs.

We will be recording 5 songs for our Demo CD, and for Bandmix, and Reverb Nation.
The songs have not been choose yet, buy at least 15 are int he running! WOODLAND is a great Studio, and there prices are very reasonable.

we are playing on Friday evening @6:30pm to 8:30pm
Festival is from 6-11pm adults only, no kiddos sorry.

This is a closed Gig for the senior of Oak Hill.

Well good news! Acoustic Soul Generations has it's first Gig! We are playing a fund raiser for Xander in Bartlett, IL on Sunday, April 28, 2013 12:00pm until 2:30pm the benefit goes till 4:00pm, If you would like to help the benefit raise money you can come, Adults $20, Children 4-12 $10, Children 3 & under are free! Moretti's Bartlett 1175 W Lake St, Bartlett, Illinois 60103 The Doug Riebock family is putting this together to help them with all of the medical bills we have incurred from all of Xander's surgeries. Its for my Friend Justin W Riebock who I used to work with, its for his son Xander.
