I have been playing guitar for about 5 years and have always have a love of music. That time includes extensive practice every day and 1 year's experience in a recording band. Mostly I play electric guitar and I am versatile on rhythm & lead. Also play acoustic guitar quite a bit, plus a little keyboards and even some ukulele (got into it during some time spent in Hawaii).

I am primarily a guitarist/vocalist seeking other musicians to jam with and eventually build a band. I would like to start up a cover band first and work on new material on the side. I'd say I'm in it just for fun but I am willing to put in a little extra commitment if things get rolling. I'm not really looking to join an already established band, but I would be open to it if everything feels right and I mesh well with the group.

As far as my style as a guitar player, I'd say I'm a bluesy hard rock player that meshes well with modern style, if that makes any sense. Check my influences to see if I'd mesh well, but I am quite versatile and can fit into almost anything. However I'm opposed to playing country and that really heavy thrash/screamo metal crap. Just can't get into it.
