About
Drummer/Backup Vocals. Can play some guitar. Been playing drums for around 25 years and I enjoy singing too. Vocally I'm probably not the next American Idol, but I'm a solid backup vocalist from behind the set.
Done plenty of shows both large and small. Mostly Rock and a bit of Country. Some blues and jazz.
Let's make something happen.
Influences
My taste in music is quite eclectic so it would be impossible to list all of that here. They include many from Buddy Rich and the music of Herbie Hancock to Alex Van Halen to the great Keith Moon
I guess my primary influence would come from Pat Riva... A phenomenal-yet-undiscovered Blues and Jazz drummer from my old home-town who took me under his wing when I was a young boy and taught me how to hear the "voice" in my instruments and how to tune in on the heart and soul of a song to not just play, but FEEL the music and listen to what it's trying to say. Most importantly how the job of every member in the band isn't necessarily to try and look good, but to try and make each other look good...
So there is a taste of my philosophical side.
