hey, I'm looking for musicians interested in joining a band with serious ambitions. A lot of the material's already written (hear samples above). The music's rock with a full orchestration/harmonies and a slighter minor tonality. Ideally looking for guys 21-28 who have previous experience recording in studios and playing live (I have both). I'm 23, play guitar/piano/bass/sax, little drums and I produce (including all the sample tracks). Just moved back to the city to pursue music. Not looking for hired guns, just people interested in our sound and in creating powerful music. Please be able to get to Manhattan easily. Seeking specifically (and these are only my ideals, if you're talented, get in touch with me):

Drummer: good with fills, keeps steady time, and likes intricate drum patterns
Bass: nimble fingers, intonation's important, a lot of the bass lines mesh with the melody
Acoustic/Rhythm Guitar: strummed chord and fingerpicking (mostly Travis picking), backing vocals a+
Lead Guitar: strong solo chops, good tone, ability to harmonize, backing vocals a+
Vocals: male vocalist, powerful voice that conveys emotion, wide range, no nasal/indie/emo tone
Cello: ability to sustain notes, excellent intonation, good bow skills, quality instrument
Pianist: ideally could play a 10th with one hand, rock or jazz background, ability to improvise a+

Multi-instrumentalists encouraged, piano and lead guitar could be the same person. Influences:

Muse, Placebo, Radiohead, Mew, Michael Nyman, Pink Floyd, music is rock with a slightly minor edge, often gets compared to film music because lots of harmonies and rich sounds.
