Hello there! We’re Aist, an experimental/instrumental electronic/metal band. Please follow the links below and read everything before replying.

We’re looking for our “Third Member” as a permanent partner in this (not paid position). We’re relatively new and released an EP earlier this year. Since then we’ve been rehearsing and are ready to tour. It’s possible to do it all as a two-piece, but it’s much easier and more energetic as three. The live show is the EP material and those parts need to be played basically verbatim as touring is our top priority, while writing is taking a back seat for a bit. It’s ok to be involved in other projects, but we need someone who can make Aist a priority. We’re around our mid 20‘s and are looking for someone in the same age bracket.

Musicianship responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Synths/electronic instruments, Bass (preferably 5 or 6 string), and Guitar (preferably 7 or 8 string). We are looking for someone with a strong electronic background that is comfortable on Bass and Guitar. All songs include Synths, and these parts are split between members of the band. The bass on the recordings were done electronically, however the ideal person is flexible between live Bass and Synth.

All of our equipment is show ready and top tier, so yours must be too. Our live rig is all computer based, we don’t use amps (Processors, ex Line6), and everything including drums is processed through Ableton out to front of house via snake. We already have a variety of electronic equipment, but please have your own (esp. keyboard(s), synths, bass). Practice is every weekend in the Valley (Encino), very close to public transportation.
