I recently moved out to the LA area to give the dream of having success in the music business a legitimate chance. I'm an attorney but gave up a law firm job on the East coast both to have more time to dedicate to music and to try and find the right pieces to work with. I used to be in a pretty serious band in the DC area and we had some success recording a couple EPs and getting some songs played on DC101, but then law school took me a different direction for awhile. The past couple years I've been putting a lot more time and effort back into my singing and have some recent recordings to reflect that. I'm hoping to find collaborative partners to try and create something new and interesting in the rock genre, which I think has been severely missing in recent years. I believe one reason for that is the lack of the power rock singers in new bands and that's what I feel I can really bring to the table.

Influences
Vocally my major influences are Brent Smith of Shinedown, Chris Cornell, Scott Weiland, Bono, and Maynard. Musically some of my favorite bands that I'd like to pull influences from in my primary project are Nine Inch Nails, Muse, Foo Fighters, A Perfect Circle, Noel Gallagher/Oasis, Deadmau5, Stone Temple Pilots, Velvet Revolver, Shinedown, Audioslave, Avenged Sevenfold, and many others. Obviously that's not a completely coherent list, but I think each of those artists has an incredible ability to write interesting, dramatic, and/or memorable music, and that's my goal as well.

Simple Man (Shinedown cover, 2015)
This is a clip of a home demo recorded in June 2015. I know Shinedown covered this song, but I like the Shinedown version better.
