Hi. I'm a guitarist wanting to start a band from scratch and am looking for people to play with, preferably also in their 20s (though I'm flexible). I'm into all kinds of music, but listen mostly to indie and classic rock (bands like Radiohead, Hum, the National, Pearl Jam, Silversun Pickups, Elliott Smith, the Doors, Zeppelin, Wolf Parade, Minus the Bear, etc. etc. etc.). I've written or partially written a handful of songs that could get us started, but I'm definitely looking for people who want to write collaboratively. Acoustic and electric are both cool, so hopefully you're into a bit of each. I'll admit that I'm still working on being as technically proficient as I'd like on the guitar (I've been playing for a few years), but I've got plenty to get started.

So if you play guitar/bass/keys/vocals/drums/accordion/whatever, drop a line and we'll see if things go anywhere. Take it easy.
