About

I am a drummer looking to start or join a band or a musical project in the genre of Alternative/ RnR. i have played in lots of band situations. I can do and enjoy improv and jamming and I like structured tunes too. I am just looking for like minded musicians to start a musical project with. I like all kinds of music i like slow tunes, faster tunes, dynamic tunes, experimental stuff. I am very intuitive and not an ego maniac. Playing music is a form of expression for be and has to be fun. I am looking to rehearse once a week at most and if we play out that's fine but am not looking to gig regularly. I do not have a rehearsal space so hopefully you do. Look forward to hearing from you.

Bowie, Beatles, Big Star, Blur, the Church, The Clash, the Cure, Generation X, Suzi and the Banchees, Rem, Jane's Addiction, Alice in Chains, Camper Van Beethoven, Love and Rockets, Smashing Pumpkins, Prince, the Replacements, the Sex Pistols, the Jam, Depeche Mode among thousands of others.....Modern bands/artists i am into are: Girls, the Kills, Dead Weather. Gorillaz. Good Bad and the Queen, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Cracker, Paul Weller, Paul Westerberg, the White Stripes, Spoon.....you get the idea.

Equipment List

For Drums I have an acoustic set up of Gretsch Kit with assorted snares. I play sabian and paiste cymbals.
I also have a mixer and drum mics.
I also an electric drum kit that includes Roland V drums and Roland Octapad.
I also have a Mac with garageband and an old school Tascam 4 track analog cassette tape Multitrack recorder.
