Hello all,

I am really looking to form or join a progressive metal band. I had a full band, played some shows and made connections, but chemistry-wise the other members did not clique well. I am looking for driven individuals who can balance work/life with music and are in it for the long haul. I want to be with members who would be open to the idea of playing shows and touring if the opportunity arises. I am looking for members 21+.

Ideally, I would like to play with 2 other guitarists who have (6-8 string) guitars, a vocalist with a diverse range who can also scream, and a bassist with 5 and 6 string basses and a versatile drummer. I play my 6 string in Drop Bflat and my 8 string in Drop E. Regardless of the instrument played, I am looking for musicians who can contribute ideas to any aspect of a song. Currently, my personal sound as a guitarist is heavy, and technical and melodic. I would like layered clean tones, harmonies, rhythms, melodies, and solos from the other two guitarists. I am going for a very heavy, groovy, technical, and melodic sound; imagine old in flames (colony-era), periphery, veil of maya, blended together as a sound.

I would like to join a progressive metal/metalcore band who needs a solid rhythm guitarist and songwriting contributor.

About me:

-30 year old business professional with steady income but with tons of drive to start something big

-Been playing guitar steadily for 16 years

-Taking vocal lessons and would love to contribute backing vocals

-Can play various styles and leads, but prefer the song writing, and rhythm aspect of playing

I want to get back on track and make solid tunes to play shows and go into the studio with. I am avery chill dude who get along with everyone. Only serious inquires please.

I have a few originals that I would be more than happy to recycle/reuse and blend with other styles to get a diversified product.
