About

I am mostly oriented toward recording music. I have an odd work schedule that pretty much negates the possibility of weekend gigging, but you can make music in the studio whenever - especially when the studio is in your own home.

I started playing professionally in a jazz band when I was 7 years old and have played in lots of bands over the years. I pretty much stopped gigging in the early 90's and moved almost exclusively into the studio.

I am mostly here being open to recording collaborations - whether I am playing or just running the studio gear.

Influences

um... music? Seriously, any good musician is an influence/inspiration - especially excellent musicians who have never sold out to "make it big".

Fender Stratocaster, Fender Precision Bass, M-Audio OXYGEN 61 keyboard, Akai EWI USB, Alesis DM6 electronic drum kit, Pro Tools, Garage Band, M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8 x 8 Interface, Sennheiser, AT, Sure, and EV Microphones.

I also have a standard 5 piece acoustic drum set, but it is mainly sitting in the closet at this point. Don'cha just live apartment living?
