ABOUT

Althea Hewitt was born in Kingston, Jamaica. She is charming, spirited and passionate about her singing career. The former VP Records Artist, is a melting pot of Reggae, Pop, R&B and Jazz, lead the “Sizzling and Scintillating” 4th Street Sista Quartet that ruled the Jamaican Stages for years. Althea is a songwriter and actress. Althea produces her own shows like “Intimate in Studio 38” at Pulse 38 in Kingston, Jamaica. She has acted in many plays, short presentations and productions like “Positive” and “Hairpeace”. She is a part of a team of performers called “Tribe Sankofa” directed by Fabian Thomas.

Her Debut album was called “Introducing Althea Hewitt” was released in 2008 and since then, she has recorded quite a few singles that are played on Pandora, Sirius and radio programs around the world. She publishes her recordings through her company Fern Gully Ltd.

The classy 5 feet 11 inches Jamaican performer, has worked in studio, on stage or on tour with the likes of Boris Gardiner, Beres Hammond, Sizzla, Jah Cure and Bunny Wailer. Althea is currently working on Tour with Israel Vibrations while she records new music for her fans.
