ABOUT

Currently located in Phillipsburg, NJ. I play saxophone (own an alto). I have approximately ten years of experience in music performance; I started subbing in on rehearsals and gigs with a professional big band before I began high school. While in high school, I participated in vocals as well. After 8 years of performance in a capella groups ranging from choral to pop, I have the ability to learn harmony parts and often to site harmonize to familiar songs. I have an excellent range and can handle most male as well as female range vocals (Soprano in regular choirs and Bass in a women's barbershop chorus). Most important of all, I have a great love of all melodic music and a capacity to learn music quickly. As a practiced musician, I feel I have an advantage over other singers, because I can read and follow music well. I have a professional appearance and demeanor and excellent stage presence (the result of many years of musical theater in addition to playing and singing). I am currently involved with the Lehigh Valley Chorale and Easton Municipal Band.

My vocal abilities are as eclectic as my taste in music - pop, R&B, jazz, country, classic rock, and punk are all genres in which my voice is comfortable and performs with ease. Not only have I been singing since I could talk, but I have also played saxophone since age eight. I would be an excellent addition to any group. I am also interested in original recording projects.
