I am currently doing occasional gigs with a changing grooup of people in alaveras County. I sometimes play solo or duo acoustic gig at the Jackson Farmers Market on Sundays in the Summer time. I like GOOD tunes, not cheesy covers of simple things that have been done 1000 times. That does not rule out a good 2 chord song, but it has to be a good one, and well done. I sing, write music and lyrics, nd arrange, too. I do acoustic and electric. Merle Haggard to AC/DC and Foo Fighters - I have no pride - I really don't care. But I love hard rock and hippie music best.

Influences

Allman Brothers, AC/DC to ZZ Top by way of CSNY, Joni Mitchell or Yes. Music with the beat on the 2 and the 4, rather than the 1 and the 3, so to speak. Also like contemporary jazz to the extent that I can figure out how to play it. I am not stuck on playing LOUD, although I don't mind, either, but it does have to have a good drummer who can swing and really play that syncopation. Unless it's acoustic stuff, of course. It says above pick three, but I'd also pick Acoustic, folk, punk southern rock, R&B, bluegrass, reggae and blues - but it has to be GOOD blues, done well. Thanks for listening.

Members Of Band

Invisible. I've jammed with a lot of people around here over the years but nothing has ever gelled. I can play solo if I have to - I just don't remember words very well because I didn't used to sing much.
