I have played piano since I was 5 and have accompanied vocalists since I was 10. I've played a few weddings in recent years.
I am interested in performing cover songs I play on the piano and sing. Most are classic soft rock and ballads, however, several are jazz, blues, old standards, and country. I also play most of these piano/vocal songs as piano instrumentals, as well as a few songs only instrumental. For either a piano/vocal program or just a piano instrumental program, I am looking for soft performance opportunities in lounges and upscale restaurant settings. I also play piano in an acoustic trio. The group also includes an acoustic and electric guitarist and a lead vocalist. Our group plays cover songs from classic rock to alternative, old and new, as well as a little blues and country, just for fun.
I am also in a classic rock band, playing piano/keyboards on some songs, tambourine on others, and singing backup vocals/harmonies with the female lead singer.
