Amy Wooden is a singer/songwriter/performer from the Philadelphia area with over 20 years experience. A passionate individual, she enjoys performing all types of music from the 1920s to present day works. She is known to sneak in an original composition from time to time as well. Though her repertoire contains many familiar songs, she enjoys performing deeper cuts from fan favorite artists.
“I really enjoy introducing people to songs they haven’t heard. There is so much great music out there that doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. I feel compelled to do my part in broadening others’ musical horizons.”
Self-taught, Amy is an competent guitarist and her passion for music is unmistakable in her voice. She grew up listening to Motown, Classic Rock, as well as Pop and Funk. She has an inherent ability to conform her voice to the style of the song being performed.
She has experience in a wide variety of settings including corporate functions, coffee houses, restaurants, independent living and skilled nursing facilities.
