Hello, I go by Drew for short. Remind musical history begins in Middle School playing trumpet for concert band, continuing with the trumpets into High School in jazz band, and then I received a drum set for Christmas at age 17. I've been playing my kit three to four times every week ever since. Because of this I am still able to sight-read though I am Rusty and I do have quite a bit of knowledge of Music Theory. I'm a very laid-back person and work well with others. With this being said I do take my music very seriously. I'll try to remain open-minded and non-judgemental, but do believe in having a strong foundation in the fundamentals of the instrument one plays. My skill has reached a point to where I am confident bat I could make a substantial living with my music with the right group of people.

Influences

As previously stated I try to remain open-minded and obtain influence from all types of music. Most of the playing I did with my kit in the beginning was Rock alternative, classic rock, and EDM, specifically Dubstep. Some of my favorite percussionists are Travis Barker, Neil Peart comedy Copeland, Metal Cohen, and John Wooton. I have recently returned to the basics of percussion in the form of practicing rudiments and paradiddles which have broaden my capabilities on the kit, so I enjoy playing with most anything. I must also add that I give all credits 2 my gracious Lord and savior Jesus Christ and a merciful and loving God.
