I've played for 26 years and still try to practice everyday. I have professional gear and transport. I also have a family, a professional career with a fairly predictable schedule so I'm looking to get back into recreational gigging. 1-2 gigs per months is about all my calendar would afford me over the next 6 months. I have been professionally trained via lessons for many years, and can read music. More importantly, I'm told I have good meter. Since I haven't played with a band in some time, I tend to practice with a metronome at least twice a week 'cause no one is perfect.
I'm told I have an immense music library as I've been collecting for many years. I'm very confident I could easily nail down anything in a few minutes.
Let me be clear - I'm very committed to doing this for fun.
