About
Long-time singer/songwriter & SoCal native just back from a 6 year stint in Virginia. I've got a fair-sized catalog of original material. I'm looking for musicians to join me for occasional gigging/recording. While I primarily play acoustic guitar, I'm not your typical female singer/songwriter type. I'm pretty indie-rock & poppy; "quirky" is the word usually used to describe my music!
Oh & I'm also a decent bass player & would love to sit in now & again with some acoustic-based alt/indie/folksy/poppy type combos...
Influences
My biggest influences on my music are Dylan, the Beatles, Robyn Hitchcock, Syd Barrett, Blondie, early R.E.M., the Band, Wilco and so on into infinity! If you like any of these guys or other great band/singers such as Yo La Tengo, Patti Smith, Tom Petty, Beck or Tom Waits, drop me a line!
