I started playing piano when I was 4. Initially it was my parents choosing and like many kids I was resistive. Throughout much of my childhood and early youth classical music was what my mom would play for me and my sister, I was never directly exposed to popular at this point in my life. It wasn't until my early teens that I began to listen to modern music. I quickly fell in love with progressive and alternative rock. At 14 I started playing guitar and this is when my obession truly began, I could not get enought of it. I would play every moment I was awake and wasn't at school; even skipping school to play piano and guitar. My second love in life was discovered shortly after highschool, medicine. It did not take me long into college before I realized I wanted to become a physician. This decision was driven from many different losses in my life; the feeling of resuscitating someone is like the feelings I get when I am connected and playing, creating. Music is my anchor throughout the craziness that life presents. My experiences in medicine are what drive me to create.
