A Seasonal Disguise is an indie, genre-hopping band based out of Boise, ID. The primary musical vehicle of Boise native Von House who acts as the singer/songwriter, often performing most of the instruments on their recordings. Live performances consist of a rotating cast of musicians who fill out House's own vocal/multi-instrumental performance.

Their first album, A Risky Place Indeed was completed in early 2005, followed by How To Fight Piranhas the bulk of which was recorded in two weeks during the summer of '05. Both are expected to be released in tandem later this year. Currently A Seasonal Disguise is in the studio putting the finishing touches on their third album. House has stated that he has more outside musicians working on this release including Eddy Hewitt on bass and trombone, Justin Martin on trumpet and as yet undisclosed backing vocalists. It is expected to be released in late '07 or early '08.
