I want to be in two bands, both serious in terms of playing gigs, recording, etc.

One I have another guitarist and drummer for, so am seeking a bassist and vocalist. We're going for something catchy and dynamic, along the lines of Brand New, Minus the Bear, The Strokes, Bloc Party, etc., with slightly progressive song structure. Something with energy that can rock out but sometimes be very calm.

The other band I want to be a heavy, metalcore/mathcore type of band, inspired by bands like Botch, The Number 12 Looks Like You, The Fall of Troy, Norma Jean, He is Legend, System of a Down, Thrice, Underoath, etc. Probably mostly screaming vocals. I already possibly have a vocalist but would be looking for a bassist, drummer, and possible second guitarist.

I also would be interested in forming a post-rock band.
