I've only been playing drums since 11/2013, so I'm not very good, but I practice almost daily and would like to get together maybe weekly or twice weekly with some other musicians who are into the above genres and maybe have at least heard of the influences below. I would be interested in starting a band that plays locally (Austin and maybe San Antonio but not too far away because I have a family with young kids). We could potentially play at my place but the young kids makes it more difficult. Again, I am learning, but part of my intent of playing with other musicians is to get much better!!!
