Im looking for a drummer and keyboard player that want to have some fun working on songs just for kicks and to stay in practice. Im not out to become a rock star but love to play and sing and am looking for others that do to. Im open to playing gigs but not wild about hauling equipment around a lot. I did that in the 60s when I was a kid. I played about every bar in Wichita and several outside Wichita but never left the state in the late 60s. Im not stuck in the mustang sally days as I love a challenge. When I hear a lead that turns me on I learn it and then I feel like I stole a piece of that musicians soul, or style. Rite now Im working of some songs from Aranda and Joe Bonamassa, Kenny Wayne Sheppard and Lenard Skynard. I love southern rock and the blues.
I love a song with a hard drive, good vocals, unique sound, where all the players are unique in their sound yet they all compliment each other. I feel each member of a group should play lead and still provide their contribution to the total sound.
