Matt MacDermaid loves Rock & Blues from the 60's to present day. He was born in April of 1955 in Flint, Michigan. Ten years later, while on vacation with his family, his father taught him a few cords on his Daneltro guitar. From that time forward, he was hooked. Within a very short time, Matt and his cousin started their own band The Inevitables. The lineup was complete with the addition of other close musician friends, and grew to perform their first gig. “I still remember the rush of that very first show. Playing rock n roll of the time was a gas, but it didn’t take long before I new that soulful bluesy guitar sound was what I loved."
Although Matt can play Country, Southern Rock, Classic Rock, Top 40 and many other styles, he always knew the blues was his one true love. His list of bands covers many genres and he loved everyone and every musician he has ever had the privilege of playing with," I even played in a real punk band in the early 70's" called CRANK,.The blues is where his heart is but he plays everything. His playing style is a cross between Eric Clapton, Gary Moore, and many others with great respect for BB King.
Matt is currently writing, and looking for artist to join him in a classic rock, blues quartet.
