ABOUT

I consider Victor Wooten, Mohini Day, Stu Hamm, Billy Sheehan, Pino Palladino, and other such accomplished bass players as "experts". Have you seen Charles Berthoud and/or Davie504 on YouTube?--Holy Cow! Sorry, but I'm not at their level--So, I don't consider myself an "expert" :) Related to the Influences section below, I am an experienced bass player looking to collaborate with musicians who have similar influences. Please reference the attachments to hear me play with some friends--These attachments should give you an idea of my ability/"level". I'm hoping to find a situation where I'm not being looked upon as "just a replacement" with having to learn a bunch of "established" songs by an unrealistic timeframe. There has been A LOT of people who have contacted me that seem to just want to play the same-ol' sets of "stale" bar band covers they've been doing for "a long time"--I'm hoping to find more of a "refreshed" type of situation. With all that being said, please consider me if you feel I'm the type of bass player who can contribute to your endeavors. Feel free to email me at SteveL6 at m s n Thank You
