Started learning upright bass 35 years ago as a kid. I also play fretless electric bass. My experience includes playing classical music with the Lake Charles and Rapides Parish Symphonies in Louisianna. My upright bass was further utilized w/the Billie Ledbetter Orchestra, a big band specializing in Swing Era Jazz in Houston, Texas. On the electric bass, I've played classic rock in a bar band in college. My college degree is a BS in Business MGMT w/a Music Minor in Applied String Bass.

Equipment List:

Peavey 115 Bass amp, Laurel upright bass w/German bow (Love those hammer strokes. The G-bow can really make her growl!) & an Ibanez fretless electric bass. (Note: When I amp up the Ibanez it sounds remarkably like an upright bass. That is due to the hollow body, which makes it ideal for Blues, Big Band/Swing & Texas Swing. Also, it rocks out real sweet to with a few adjustments to the tone on the amp! Most importantly, [ask my aching back] it's much lighter to carry around.)
