I've played in classic and modern rock cover bands in Atlanta and central Virginia for over 15 years. I also played in a Jazz band for 5 years. And now, I'm playing in Baltimores best variety cover band, Soul and Sass. You can check out our band at www.soulandsass.net. We are a six piece variety band playing everything from rock to disco and everything in between. We are fronted by two very talented ladies, but unfortunately, one of them is moving back home to be closer to family. So we need to replace her. We are open to adding a male or a female vocalist, and will adjust our material as necessary to accomodate who ever chooses to join us. We are flexible, but we do wish to remain a variety formatted band, so flexibility and appreciation for a variety of musical styles is a big plus. Of course, if you play an instrument, that is even better!

Influences

Rock Bands I like include: Steely Dan, Rush, Foreigner, Boston, Yes, Kansas, Van Halen, Billy Idol, and lots more.

Jazz Bands I like include: Ingognito, four80east, Boney James, Rick Braugn, Waymon Tisdale (I wish I could play as well as he does) just to name a few.

I also enjoy Disco, Funk, and R&B music, and I try to play the material as accurately as possible. That material requires a lot of technique!

Dingwall 5 string, Jazz Fender 5 string, full PA, Ampeg 1600w head w/Acme b4 cab, BAM combo for smaller gigs, other miscellaneous junk I have accumulated over the decades.
