I recently relocated back to Atlanta after 20 years of military service. I've played around the world, most recently in the DC Metro area. I sat in with Marcus Mitchell and Brian Lenair and had my own group 4U. I'm seeking to put together a 4-5 piece smooth jazz, light R&B combo for local gigs. I've played jazz, gospel, blues, rock, etc. I have professional gear to include a PA perfect for small to medium venues. I have access to military gigs and a number of civic/fraternal organizations...just need some serious players and preferably a female vocalist. I'm part of the 40+ crowd but will work with anyone over 25 who is serious about delivering great/quality music. No drugs; no drama. In Atlanta, I've sat in with Teddy White, Julie Dexter, Freddy Vidgor of Average White Band, and Heston at Barley's, William Green at Cafe 290,Antoine Knight at Londzell's, Allen Smith at Kat's, and Allwyn & Co. at the Grape in Atlantic Station.
