Hello Bay Area Musicians! I am currently seeking folks to jam with, and if there is a good connection, form a band. I have some original material, and a pocket full of covers I like, but would love other musicians with songs they want to bring to the table; as well as collaborating and new musical creations together. (If you don't have OM, but like the idea of this project, don't let that deter you from hitting me up.)
Ideally, I would like another guitarist. We could take turns playing lead and rhythm, or if you're just comfortable playing rhythm that works too. Bass player, keyboard player, and drummer would be a must!! (I sing, but not great. So a guitar/bass/keyboard who wants their voice to be in the spot light, this may be a project for you!! Can and will sing lead on songs, i like the idea of rotating singers, but feel most comfortable on backing vocals)
Looking for people who want to create music in the vein of The Grateful Dead, Phish, String Cheese, etc. Give some of my songs a listen (rough cuts), and if you sound like a good candidate send me a message.
I'm a patient, fun-loving dude, so no ego's. I encourage mistakes, humor, do-overs, and forgiveness. Half the reason i do this is for personal and spiritual fulfillment. That said, I am serious about making good music, and if we have a good connection, would love to practice regularly and play shows!
P.s. If you don't fit all the criteria, or simply don't want to commit to more than just the occasional spontaneous jam, thats cool too. Don't hesitate to drop me a line or send me demos of yourself!
