Perhaps it's never too late...

This has been my daily contemplation for the past several years as at the "late" age of 33 I have awoken to the creative side of life. A singer for most, if not, all of my life and exposed to different genres of music, I started my journey of songwriting only five years ago when encouraged by a friend to take a risk. I have taken small risks since then but I am eager to take even greater risk by sharing my music with those who want to hear it.

Full time mommy to three girls six and under, I like to use my life experiences, relationships, and perceptions of my world as catalysts for my songs. Songs that hopefully inspire, encourage, and connect with others.

It's never too late to begin a new trajectory in one's life.

Influences

I was influenced greatly by classic movies and musicals as a kid. I love music that stems from the first half of the 20th century.

In more recent years I have been inspired by the singer/songwriter movement that has more of an acoustic and folk bent. I'm influenced by music that is lyrically deep, music that intends to convey the realities of life intertwined w truth and hope.
