Formed in Boulder, CO, in 2004, Beltfight has driven full force, composing an extensive set of original music, and a few deviated covers. Beltfight has played in venues along the front range from Denver / Boulder to Colorado Springs and Fort Collins. With the recent completion of a 3-song demo “THREE LASHINGS”, recorded at Denver’s 8Houses Down, in June 2005, Beltfight is fast becoming an established name in local music. Beltfight is a collaboration of diverse styles and influences, from the simplicity of punk’s roots to the complexities of today’s technical metal. Within the band a wide range of age, style, influences and musical backgrounds offer an escape from the monotony of the “formula bands” of recent years. Motivated musicianship and abundant talent have broken many boundaries leaving the buckle wide open for Beltfight to be unleashed.
