Looking to hook up with a really good blues or rock band &/or lead guitarist. I've been in several bands. Prior bands have played most big venues in DFW area, won best band competitions (eg Hard Rock), received radio & press exposure, etc. I'm also a songwriter (multiple styles) and guitarist (rhythm & some lead). I was selected by TAXI as one of their Top 10 artist/songwriters this July 2008. Have won some songwriting awards. My vocals often get compared to David Bowie or Jim Morrison. I've got quite a bit of stage, studio & touring experience. I had a band in OKC last year that was playing every week in Bricktown and drawing 100+ per show even on week nights. Lately I've been touring accross South & Midwest playing at festivals & noteable venues as a solo artist - e.g., Poor David's Pub in Dallas. I'm a very talented eccentric frontperson with a really nice voice that is getting better & better; hard working & easy to get along with. I'm a really nice rhythm guitarist & a pretty good blues type lead player, but there are lots of lead players way more talented than me and I'm looking for a great one. No drugs. Drink every now & then, but not necessary.

Looking for serious musicians & bands ready to play big venues & tour regionally. Looking to play/write original psychedelic & indie rock &/or blues - blues/rock - and covers in these genres. Will need to get up to speed on 3-4 sets of material quickly as necessary to cover weekend bar gigs ASAP, and also be willing to do 1 set original showcase gigs (which don't necessarily pay much but get attn.). I have booking & label contacts, but really looking for band mates that will do their share of leg work.
