I'M AN EXPERIENCED FRONTMAN SEARCHING FOR MUSICIANS TO JOIN ME IN A HIGH ENERGY TOP 80'S HAIR ROCK/TOP 80'S POP/TOP JOURNEY HITS 5 MEMBER COVER BAND TO PLAY AT THE HOTTEST VENUES IN SPFLD & SURROUNDING AREA (I'm not tied down and this is what I do best. If I met the right musicians I would like to play in Spfld possibly twice a month. If the musicians are flexible I would like to some light traveling and do some weekend gigs as well as a small tour every now and then)

If your a musician this is a smokin opportunity to have a blast crankin out hits from Journey, carrying the attitude and melting faces from the top 80's hair/rock bands, and dancing with the audience to some of the top 80's pop songs ever. Also earn as a band a total of 700 to 1500 a night.
As of right now I am looking for:
1. Lead guitar/shredder(if u sing harmony as well you must really rock)
2. Keyboard(sing harmony?, if you play acoustic or rhythm guitar in addition that would be even better.
3. Bass(if you sing harmony thats awesome)
4. Drums(if you sing harmony awsome)
- I know a couple musicians who are on for the challenge but trust me I'm looking to meet the most interested and most talented musicians that I can and I haven't chosen anyone yet.
The audience I'm trying to attract to the shows will be a younger crowd and anyone who likes 80's and Journey. So I would like the members of the band to be inbetween the ages of 24-45. I am going to and expect the band to participate in wearing 80's attire to appear like members of Journey, 80's pop, and 80's hair in your own style that fits you. Some musicians I know might frown upon this idea of wearing 80's attire but trust me all of the younger crowd who goes out or not and all the 80's and Journey fans will love it.

Springfield has been waiting for a band like this for a long time. Anyone remember 4JAX from Spfld that played at the brew co.? It didn't matter who you were if you went out or not or even if you listened to bands or not when they played everybody and there brother went to see them play. Myself and this band will be that popular w/ no question. I've made alot of friends here in Spfld since I've grown up here who would be big fans of this band and support it fully if the show was at ICON Night club, Spfld Brew Co, or Outland Ballroom. Icon and Brew Co. needs a big show like this to take over and generate over 200 peeps per night. I've spoken to one of the owners and they are willing to pay 1500 a night for a band like this. Certain bar owners are just waiting for a "house band" thats gonna bring in the $$$ for them. Getting the gigs won't be a problem for me but finding the other talented
musicians who share the same passion for Journey and the 80's might be.
Currently I'm in a classic rock cover band now called the "Ballistics" w/ some guys in their 40's and 50's. We do some Journey, REO, Eagles, Great White, Marvin Gaye among many others. Lately we've been playing at Roadhouse and Key Largo. I've got Steve Perry nailed w/o a flaw. I have a very natural clean crisp upper range. To be honest I can sing into the ozone and have a 3 octave range. I studied voice at SMSU and and also studied w/ respected private vocal instructors. A couple yrs ago I was the frontman for an original electro/rock band called "Subtle Luxury". Also back when I went to SMSU I also studied acting, had lead roles in plays and musicals at Spfld little theatre and SMSU, was in an opera, and choir. I am very versatile in many genre's of music added to my performing arts background makes me have a very strong stage presence. I will be using a Shure cordless mic and Shure in ear monitor's for this band.
